Я получил этот текущий код Github (@Cahlen Humphreys), и изначально он не работал, но после незначительных изменений он запускается для шифрования,

но дешифрование дает мне следующую ошибку:

В вашем коде есть некоторые проблемы с безопасностью:

  • Использование защищенного пароля открытого текста непосредственно в качестве ключа шифрования небезопасно. Вместо этого используйте функцию деривации ключа, такую как scrypt или PBKDF2.
  • Фиксированный IV по существу бесполезен. Используйте случайные байты как IV, чтобы хранить их вместе с зашифрованным текстом.
  • Хорошо иметь MAC (например, HMAC или GCM), чтобы иметь возможность проверять дешифрованные данные.

Сказав это, я догадываюсь, почему он не работает, вы либо работаете в Windows, либо используете не-латинскую кодировку по умолчанию.

Попробуйте добавить двоичный режим для вызова open():
